This is the ONE category which is PUBLIC to everyone, even if they don’t have an account or aren’t logged in. Anything posted here is publicly viewable - but that can be good if you want to make a public guide or resource!
Here is my little public guide - on how to make your post a wiki!
After you make a post, if you hit the little three dots:
it will expand into a few options. You can then click on the wrench:
This will then allow you to turn a post into a wiki (but you can only do this after you have finished your post and uh. posted it.)
Doing this allows you and other folks to edit the post as a wiki. This is set to be only people who are logged in and have joined the freaks group. Admins can also undo wiki posts. Maybe you want some of your guides to be things that can be edited after the fact. (or maybe not)
But if you want to make a guide, one that you can edit and keep up to date, or allow other people to add to, a wiki in the PUBLIC Guides and Resources category is a great way to do it!
